Thank you for your interest in learning about the services I provide. Please be sure to read this page in its entirety, so that you have a clear understanding of my services.

*I offer individual therapy services for ages 18 and over. All therapy sessions are provided online, via a secure, and HIPPA compliant video conferencing platform. I am able to provide this service to individuals who are physically located throughout the state of California.

*My practice of therapy is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I draw from other modalities as I see fit and as needed or requested by my clients.

*Sessions can be 30 to 60 minutes in duration, and are scheduled every week or every other week, depending on your individual needs.

*My service is most appropriate for individuals struggling with:

  • Stress (professional or personal)

  • Anxiety & Worry

  • Life Transitions (divorce, college, becoming a parent, moving, switching jobs, etc.)

  • Racial Issues (experiencing racism, learning about racism, self exploration, etc.)

  • Gender & Sexuality Issues (lifestyle changes, questioning, coping with culture, religious and family issues, etc.)

  • Cultural Issues (acculturation, cultural clashing with your partner or family, culture shock, etc.)

*Please note that I am not a couples therapist or a sex therapist, and do not provide these services. I provide family therapy only in specific cases (for example, becoming new parents), or as needed around individual issues. I also am not an expert in gender and sexuality issues but have some experience providing support, both professionally and in my personal life. If you are unsure I may be able to help- let’s talk and explore that. At the very least, I may be able to provide you with helpful resources to obtain services elsewhere.

*It is also important to consider that because my services are only conducted online, they may not be appropriate for everyone. Some examples of clients who would benefit from in-person therapy and services local to them, are those experiencing active suicidal or homicidal ideation (or recent history of either), those in actively dangerous situations or relationships, those with active substance use, abuse or history of relapse, and individuals who may be experiencing hallucinations or have a history of hallucinations. A good resource for finding services local to you is calling 2-1-1.

If you are interested in learning whether I may be able to help, please contact me to schedule a FREE, 20 minute phone consult. During this call, we can establish if my service is appropriate, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about me as a therapist, my services or my practice.
